Why Geoneo

GEO vs SEO

How is Geoneo different from SEMrush's AI Visibility tools?

SEMrush is primarily an SEO platform with AI visibility features. Geoneo is built specifically for GEO, so it tracks how AI engines describe, rank, recommend, and cite a brand across the full scan workflow.

The biggest difference is Asian engine coverage. Geoneo includes DeepSeek, Qwen, Hunyuan and Kimi alongside major Western engines, which makes it more relevant for brands operating in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Southeast Asia and global markets.

How is Geoneo different from Brandlight and other enterprise GEO platforms?

Brandlight and similar platforms are strong enterprise monitoring tools. Geoneo is designed to combine AI visibility measurement, Asian LLM coverage, transparent scoring, and practical workflow credits in one platform.

That means teams can move from scan results into response exploration, visibility probes, competitor benchmarking and content actions without treating GEO as a purely static report.

What makes Geoneo different from standalone GEO tools like Profound, Otterly or Peec?

Many standalone GEO tools focus on mentions, citations and share of voice across Western AI engines. Geoneo adds Asia-first engine coverage, recommendation tiers, Net Sentiment Score and workflow credits for ongoing visibility work.

Can I have strong SEO but weak GEO?

Yes. A brand can rank well on Google and still be weak inside AI answers. Traditional SEO depends heavily on search rankings, backlinks and keyword relevance. GEO depends on whether AI engines understand the brand as a clear entity, cite it accurately, and recommend it in the right buying context.

What is the Net Sentiment Score?

Net Sentiment Score measures how positively AI engines describe a brand. It helps separate simple visibility from reputation quality: a brand can be mentioned often but still framed with uncertainty, caveats or weaker positioning than competitors.

The platform

What is a GEO Score?

A GEO Score is a 0-100 rating that measures how visible and recommendable a brand is across AI-powered search engines. It considers presence, placement, recommendation quality, topic coverage, sentiment, consistency, authority and exclusivity.

What is Generative Engine Optimization?

Generative Engine Optimization, or GEO, is the practice of improving how a brand appears inside AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek and Qwen. It focuses on machine-readable brand signals, citable content and consistent entity descriptions.

Which AI engines does Geoneo track?

Geoneo tracks 10 AI engines across Western and Asian AI search behavior, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Qwen, Hunyuan, Kimi and Brave.

How long does a Geoneo scan take?

A typical scan completes within minutes. Timing depends on the number of engines, prompts, competitors and workflow actions included in the scan.

Does Geoneo support Chinese AI engines?

Yes. Geoneo supports major Chinese-language AI engines including DeepSeek, Qwen, Hunyuan and Kimi, making it useful for brands that need visibility across Hong Kong, Mainland China and wider Asia.

Pricing

Pricing and plans

What plans does Geoneo offer?

Geoneo currently offers three global pricing options:

  • No Commitment: US$2,300/month, billed monthly.
  • 6-Month: US$1,950/month, billed upfront at US$11,700.
  • 12-Month: US$1,290/month, billed upfront at US$15,480.

Each plan includes 200 workflow credits per month, access to all 10 engines including Chinese LLMs, credit rollover with no expiry, and top-ups at 50 credits for US$350.

What are workflow credits?

Workflow credits are the usage pool behind Geoneo scans and visibility work. They let teams run scans, probes and related GEO workflows without buying a separate plan for each action.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits roll over with no expiry, so unused monthly credits can continue to support future scans, benchmarking and GEO workflow activity.

Can I buy extra credits?

Yes. Active customers can top up anytime at 50 workflow credits for US$350.

Which plan is best value?

The 12-Month plan has the lowest effective monthly rate at US$1,290/month. The 6-Month plan reduces the monthly rate while keeping a shorter commitment, and the No Commitment plan is best for teams that want monthly flexibility.

How do I pay?

Payment is handled through the Geoneo sales and account setup process. Contact the team or start from the pricing page to choose a plan and confirm billing details.

Account

Client portal

How do I access the client portal?

Use the sign-up or login entry point from the site navigation. New clients receive account access after setup, with scan history, usage and reports available in the portal.

What score should my brand aim for?

A GEO Score above 60 is a strong starting benchmark. Scores below that usually mean there are gaps in citation, recommendation quality, content coverage, entity clarity or competitor positioning.
